Objectives
- Encourage new construction of, and remodeling and additions to,
residential and commercial properties through abatement of taxes on the
value of the improvements. - Improve economic conditions and housing opportunities in the area and
take steps to enhance the general attractiveness of the Urban Revitalization
Area. - Planning goals include revitalizing the area through the promotion of new
construction on vacant land and rehabilitation of existing property,
stabilizing and increasing the tax base, and providing overall aesthetic
improvement.
