It is the City Council's goal to enhance the community through the removal of blighted properties. Through the Demolition Program the City may obtain Real Estate that they wish to sell for development purpose. We ask that you do your due diligence by confirming that your plans meet the City's building and zoning requirements prior to submitting a bid.
Please note that the City will not provide an abstract of title to the Real Estate unless they currently possess one and any abstract cost shall be at the Buyers' expense. The City shall convey the property to Buyers by Quit Claim Deed only and makes no warranty as to the title to the property.
All bids will be reviewed at the time of the public hearing, with official approval and issuance of Quit Claim Deed to follow at the following Council Meeting.
