The City of Boone, Iowa

The Economic Development Committee encourages and promotes the establishment and development of industries, manufacturing, commercial and other interests to promote growth within the City. The Committee has the power to investigate, promote and do such things as may be deemed necessary to expedient transactions for the general welfare of the City.

Meeting Schedule

The Economic Development Committee typically meet prior to Council Meetings on the first and third Monday of every month when necessary and any other time as deemed necessary.
