Proposed Recreation Facility and Community Sports Plan

Last night (Monday June 6, 2022), the Council received a report on new options for funding a community recreation center.  To be perfectly clear, there is NO FRANCHISE FEES under discussion.

Council voted 6-1 to move forward with a public hearing and a show of commitment towards this community project with benchmarks on private fundraising goals that need to be meet before moving forward with any formal design or issuing any potential bonds.
