The City of Boone is seeking investors, businesses, or investment partners to develop three lots in the heart of downtown Boone. A business will not find a better location to describe as “Downtown Boone.” The intersection of 8th Street and Story Street is one of the most visible intersection in the City of Boone.
Incentives:
Boone has an array of opportunities to help a new business for startup or help an existing business prosper. Possible incentives include property tax abatement and low-interest loans just to name a couple. Contact Beth Brincks, Economic Development Director, for more information (515-432-4211 ext 101).
Description:
The City has current ownership of three lots (3 lots, each approx. 105’ x 25’). The land is vacant due to demolition of three buildings. All foundations and footings have been removed from the site. Each lot has immediate access to all necessary utilities. Sidewalks on both sides have been recently replaced.
