NEW INFORMATION
2-Wheel Safety
News Release-08/07/08: The Boone Police Department, together with agencies across the nation, will join the "Over the Limit. Under Arrest." enforcement initiative. Officials from city county and state law enforcement agencies throughout Iowa will have heightened enforcement from August 18th through the 31st. The focus will be on getting drunk or impaired drivers off our roadways. The help of the motoring public to "buckle up", "slow down", and "drive sober", will directly affect the safety of everyone on our roadways. With increased patrols and focused enforcement across Iowa this Labor Day holiday, the odds of getting arrested for drunk driving or receiving a traffic ticket are greatly increased. Enjoy the holiday and remember to behave responsibly, for all our sakes. Thank you.
